Spoonie Yoga: Gentle Movement for folks living with chronic illnesses
As a student of viniyoga at Whole Life Yoga, my final project is to create and teach a class. I’ve chosen to design a class for people living with chronic illnesses, such as fatigue or pain.
The focus of the class is gentle stretching, light strength-building, and breath awareness. The class will run once a week for four weeks, and each class will last for an hour. Everything will be provided, but if you’d prefer to use your own yoga mat, feel free to bring it with you.
The first class will be observed by one of my teachers, as part of my training!
Dates: Saturdays, June 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th
